We are planning a trip in April or May to celebrate our first-born.
I would love to play some golf.
We are on a budget, so nothing over $100, preferably a couple of good courses in the $50s. I am decent player, and not scared of a good challenge.
There is a million courses near Myrtle, so any help would be appreciated. Please share your experiences, a little about the course, cost, telephone number or website.

What field or fields would be best to study the science of golf? Mainly focusing either on the equipment or on the forces of the swing itself.

I would assume aerospace engineering for the flight of a golf ball. Possibly mechanical engineering for clubs? Physics for the swing? Can someone give an explanation for what the best fields are and also WHY?

I’m 15 years old and going to play high school golf for the first time this spring. I’ve been playing for about 2 years, I want to get a new stand bag and golf shoes. Any opinions?

i spend hours looking at reviews for golf clubs, but what i need is a driver which i can get some decent consistency with and not TOO concerned about length.
i play off 7 and finding the right driver for me would be the next step down i guess…

I want to purchase my first set of golf clubs. I have not been golfing too many times but I am pretty athletic and a quick learner. I am not trying to be a pro but would like to have fun. I usually spend a little more than average on my sporting equipment because usually you can get better quality and if nothing else at least it makes you more confident. I want to spend around $1000.00 on clubs and I am wondering what else I should buy shoes, bag, glove, etc. I would also like to know the basics when it comes to club selection, offset, shaft length, stiffness, etc. Someone who could summerize for me would be great!!!

OK so I am going to buy a baseball and golf video game and need some opinions. I know some games are really great and some are awful! I need one that is the easiest and most fun to play with good graphics and fun game modes. Here are a few I have heard of and need to know if they are any good: MLB The Show 08, The Bigs(which i have never heard of but looks fun), and MLB 2k7. As for golf I really dont know. Don’t reply telling me not to. I don’t have enough money to pay $40 to $50 each time on want to play golf. I played competitive high school golf and now don’t have the money because I’m in college.

My strategies include late day golf, stealing Club Car keys, and sneaking on rainy days.
What a load of crap. Sneaking onto a golf course when there’s no one playing is the same thing as stealing a car? Trespassing is not a win lose economically. No one is losing money when you play free golf and respect the course like I do at off peak hours. I’ve gotten caught and no one has ever taken me to court. My law school frat brother says no course is going to pay a lawyer to prosecute some college kid. Please answer the question at hand.

What are the best places to golf in the Chicagoland area?
My boyfriend and I are going to move to the area. He loves to golf and I would like to know about the different golf courses/centers in the area. I have never golfed. It is almost his birthday and I would like to surprise him with some type of golfing excursion or golfing gift certificates. Do you have any ideas as to where/what I can give him?

I’m a huge golfer and am visiting Atlanta to attend the final four in late march and early April of this year. I want to golf a couple of the best courses in the area. Price is no concern. Obviously it would be great to golf Augusta National but that is most likely impossible as it is a very private club.
